Number 6: Lets SWOT it together

Today I decided to find out about a SWOT analysis and how to use it so I downloaded a program called smart draw and went to work.  Then when I uploaded it I realised you cannot read a thing.  So here is the basics.

Strengths - Blogging enables students to interact with subject matter at their own pace and it allows them to regulate their material.  As a reflective tool it allows the student to see their knowledge change and grow over time.

Weaknesses -  It would be important to structure the material that you desire students to use, as bloggers can easily become distracted and go off topic.  

Opportunities - Being able to ascertain student strengths and weaknesses without having to use formal assessment types. Improvement of text communication and written language.

Threats - Open to the public and privacy issues could be a concern.
